so here’s the really discomforting UK trailer for Lynne Ramsay’s (RATCATCHER) latest, which stumbled out of the gates a bit at Cannes but has garnered its fair share of brilliant reviews. i was a bit bummed when WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN wasn’t selected to play at NYFF (not only because that meant i’d have to wait longer, but also because it’s a severe vote of no-confidence), but it’ll hit the states via limited release on 12/2. it looks like some pretty grim stuff, but if Tilda can’t carry this thing to a glimmer of Oscar glory, no one can.
trailers got balls for playing the Gummo song, but this does look really interesting
